Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Turkey Ishankuli Amanliyev took part in the opening festivities of the TURKSOY park and exposition. The event was timed to the 30th anniversary of independence of the Turkic republics. The exhibition showcased a variety of works by figures of Turkmen art - paintings by artists, works by writers and other representatives of culture.
The diplomat emphasized that the exhibition in Khatay represents the art and culture of Turkmenistan. The politician emphasized that this year has been declared the Year of Peace and Trust. This fully meets the principles of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who said world peace begins with peace at home, in one's own country. The Ambassador expressed hope that friendship and mutual cooperation between the Turkic countries would be raised to a higher level.
The diplomat said that he was glad to be in Hatay, a place where dozens of civilizations converged. Therefore, it is very important that the TURKSOY Park was opened here. The event demonstrates the intensification of interconnection between Turkic-speaking countries.
The festivities were complemented by the symbolic planting of olive tree seedlings.
The TURKSOY Park, in addition to the country garden and children's playgrounds, also has jogging paths and walkways, eating areas. The park entrance is decorated with bas-reliefs of famous representatives of the Turkic world - Makhtumkuli Fraghi, Chingiz Aitmatov, Alisher Navoi, Mukhtar Avezov, Yunus Emre, Nizami Ganjavi.
