Ambassador of Turkmenistan meets with Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan

On February 29, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Tajikistan A. Kochmuradov met with Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan H. Rajapov. A delegation of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, which is on a working visit to Dushanbe, took part in the event.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan in the trade and economic sphere. Light industry, oil and gas sector, foodstuffs and agro-industrial complex were named priority areas of cooperation.

Tajikistan expressed interest and readiness to assist in the realization of the project on opening the Trade House of Turkmenistan in Dushanbe.
