Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan develop interbank cooperation

On February 29, 2024, head of the diplomatic corps of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Meredov held a meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan B. Abubakirov. This is reported on the official website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides noted the positive dynamics of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in trade and economic sphere. In this context, the need to expand and intensify interbank interaction between the two countries was emphasized.

During the meeting, the sides discussed planned activities between banking institutions of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan aimed at strengthening bilateral trade and economic partnership.
