Embassy of Turkmenistan in Qatar held a reception in honor of the Independence Anniversary

A reception on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence was held on September 30, 2025 at the Sheraton Grand Doha Hotel. The event, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the State of Qatar, gathered representatives of political, diplomatic and social circles. It is reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by Qatar's Minister of Labor Ali bin Saeed bin Samih Al-Marri, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Qatar, as well as Turkmen students and media personnel.

In his speech, Ambassador of Turkmenistan M. Seyitmammedov noted the significant achievements of the country over the years of independence and emphasized the role of international cooperation. Special attention was paid to the adoption of the UN resolution "2025 - International Year of Peace and Trust" on the initiative of Turkmenistan, which was supported by 86 co-sponsoring states.

As part of the cultural program, the guests were presented Turkmen folk songs, videos about the country, as well as national cuisine.
