Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan met with FC Arkadag soccer players

On December 30, Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag and met with athletes and coaches of the soccer club of the "smart" city there. This is reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people arrived at the multi-purpose sports complex "Arkadag" where he was cordially welcomed by the Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of Arkadag City under the President D. Orazov and the Mayor of Arkadag Sh. Durdylyev.

Here, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan inspected the bus with the logo and name of the soccer club presented by the President to the Arkadag team. The National Leader of the Turkmen people congratulated the soccer players on their victory in the championship of Turkmenistan and discussed ways to successfully fulfill new sports tasks. Confidence was expressed that the athletes will continue to make a worthy contribution to maintaining the reputation of Turkmen sports in the international arena.
