Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan presented the project of the jubilee medal

During an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova presented the project of a jubilee medal in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi. This is reported by the online edition "SNG.today".

In her report, the Chairperson of the Mejlis noted that in accordance with the resolution of the Head of State on celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Phragi, comprehensive work has been carried out in various directions. Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan signed the submitted law "On Establishing the Jubilee Medal of Turkmenistan Makhtumkuli Pyragynynynin 300 Yyllygyn".

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that much work has been done to preserve, study and popularize the work of the outstanding poet in the world.
