President of Turkmenistan congratulates Turkmen people on Children's Day

Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the Turkmen people on the International Children's Day. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The President noted that children are the pride of the country and its future. In this regard, in accordance with targeted programs, conditions for happy childhood of the younger generation are being created in every corner of Turkmenistan.

This international holiday is widely celebrated in Turkmenistan every year, and this year is no exception - festive events will be held all over the country today.

The President emphasized that the state is actively pursuing programs to support the family, protect motherhood and childhood, educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, humanism and friendship. Construction of new modern schools and kindergartens continues in Ashgabat and Arkadag.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan has adopted a number of laws ensuring a high level of protection of motherhood and childhood and provision of social benefits. The state has joined the UN documents on the protection of women's and children's rights.
