President of Turkmenistan gives start to mass bicycle race

On June 3, World Bicycle Day was celebrated at a high level in Ashgabat with the participation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.

At the monument "Bicycle", which has become one of the landmarks of Ashgabat, the President of Turkmenistan launched a mass bicycle race. The movement of the column of cyclists, which was headed by the head of state, ran along the capital's Chandybil and Bitarap Turkmenistan avenues.

This bicycle race has become another symbolic expression of the unity and cohesion of Turkmenistanis, their commitment to a healthy lifestyle and enduring humanistic values, notes TDH.
