President of Turkmenistan pardons 302 convicts in honor of International Day of Neutrality

During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on December 11, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed decrees on pardoning 302 citizens, including 6 foreign citizens, in accordance with the noble tradition in honor of the International Day of Neutrality. This is reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The President emphasized that the release is being held on the eve of the coming holiday in accordance with the traditions of mercy and humanism of great ancestors. 302 convicts who sincerely repented for their crimes will be released from punishment.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave orders to the responsible persons to take necessary measures so that the pardoned citizens could return home to their families in the nearest future. The local leaders were instructed to take measures to find employment for the pardoned citizens as soon as possible.
