The President of Turkmenistan held a meeting on agro-industrial complex with khakims of velayats

On Monday, October 30, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with participation of khakims of all velayats of the country and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex of Turkmenistan. The meeting was held through digital communication channels. This is reported in the air of the news program Watan.

The central topic of the meeting was the discussion of issues related to the progress of seasonal work in the agricultural sector. In their speeches, the governors of Akhal, Mary, Dashoguz, Balkan and Lebap velayats reported to the President on the dynamics of cotton harvesting and processing and the timeliness of settlements with producers. It was also noted that sowing of winter wheat is actively continuing and is already at the final stage.

Commenting on the reports of the khakims, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that all agricultural works should be carried out in accordance with the existing agro-technical norms - timely and qualitatively.
