The President of Turkmenistan reviewed the progress of seasonal field works

The progress of seasonal field work was discussed at the working meeting held by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on June 10 via digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhallyev and khakims of velayats, TDH reports.

Khakims of velayats reported on measures taken for organized grain reaping, effective use of agricultural machinery and units, as well as unimpeded transportation of harvested crops to receiving points.

Information was also given on the fulfillment of the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan to provide the population with food products. It was noted that appropriate steps are being taken in the provinces of the country to collect grown potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops and deliver these products to the country's markets, as well as to work on cotton fields.

In addition, the participants were informed about the preparation for the events dedicated to the Day of Science widely celebrated in the country, the construction of social and industrial facilities under the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is scheduled for this year.

During the meeting, the khakims of Balkan velayat H. Ashirmiradov and Dashoguz velayat S. Soltanmiradov expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag on behalf of the velayat residents for the opening of socially significant facilities in these regions, as well as for the medical equipment purchased at the expense of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.

Addressing the participants of the working meeting, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the important and responsible season for agriculture and instructed to ensure an organized grain harvesting season and well-coordinated work of all structures involved, as well as to control the observance of agro-technical norms in the care of cotton crops.

At the same time, the President of Turkmenistan instructed to keep in view the observance of deadlines and quality of construction of various facilities within the framework of the programs of socio-economic development of the country, the opening of which is scheduled for this year.
