On March 28, representatives of the Turkmen agency Turkmendemiryollary, the South Korean railway concern KORAIL, and the Ministry of Transport had a conversation at an online meeting. They touched upon issues related to mutually beneficial partnership in the transport and logistics sphere.
Representatives of the Turkmen delegation drew attention of the South Korean side to the importance of initiatives of Serdar Berdymukhamedov to unite the main corridors South-North and West-East.
The parties discussed the construction of airports, high-speed highways and sea ports. Attention was also paid to the laying of railway tracks running through the territory of Turkmenistan and neighboring countries. It was noted that the implementation of the planned projects is of strategic importance in strengthening cooperation with foreign partners.
