Schoolchildren from Turkmenistan will participate in the International Mendeleev Olympiad

Turkmen schoolchildren will take part in the International Mendeleev Olympiad, which this year will be held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, from May 1 to 6. This was reported by RIA Novosti news agency on sn.ria.ru website with reference to the organizers of the event.

The main venue of the competition will be laboratories and classrooms of Nazarbayev University. The Olympiad will be held in the face-to-face format.

Traditionally, the Olympiad consists of three stages: two theoretical and one practical. The complexity of the rounds corresponds to the level of preparation of specialized chemistry classes. We expect tasks on organic and inorganic chemistry, analytical and physical chemistry, as well as from the section of life sciences.

Winners and prize-winners will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals, diplomas and valuable gifts.
