Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister meets with the head of TURKSOY

Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the delegation of the International Organization of Turkic Culture headed by Secretary General Sultan Raev on September 3. This is reported on the website Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting the parties discussed promising areas of further cooperation between Turkmenistan and TURKSOY. Particular attention was paid to the organization of upcoming events at the international level aimed at promoting the creativity of Makhtumkuli Fraghi and the cultural value of the ancient city of Turkmenistan Anau - the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024.

The parties noted the fruitful partnership between Turkmenistan and TURKSOY in the field of popularization of culture and traditions of the peoples of the Turkic world.
