The President of Turkmenistan noted that the Russian Federation is a strategic partner for Turkmenistan in a wide range of areas. He emphasized the positive dynamics in the development of trade and economic cooperation, noted effective interdepartmental ties and intensification of inter-parliamentary contacts. It was noted that strengthening cooperation in the cultural, scientific and educational spheres is of particular importance in the rapprochement of the peoples of the two countries.
Vladimir Putin thanked the President of Turkmenistan for congratulations and addressed greetings and best wishes to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who also made a significant contribution to the development of interstate dialog.
