Students-payers of Turkmenistan will not have to work for 2 years

At a Cabinet of Ministers meeting last Friday, Serdar Berdymukhamedov instructed the government of Turkmenistan to prepare a bill to abolish the mandatory workout requirement for paying students to obtain a higher education diploma.

Previously, all students had to work for two years after graduation at state-run companies, and only after that could they receive their diploma. In addition, two years of service in the law enforcement and military structures of Turkmenistan, which young people could be drafted into the army, were also considered work experience.
