On April 14-15, 2022, Astrakhan hosted the international round table "The Future of Russia - the Future of Eurasia: New Windows of Opportunity". The event was attended by students from CIS countries, including Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. This is reported in the press release of the Center for International and Socio-Political Studies "Caspian-Eurasia".
As stated by the organizers, the main purpose of this event was to exchange experiences and discuss new areas of cooperation between the Russian Federation and Euro-Asian countries. The participants of the round table discussed various topics, such as factors of humanitarian and sociocultural integration of students from CIS countries in Russian universities.
Khatija Bekieva, a master's student from Turkmenistan at the Faculty of Microbiology of ASTU, was among the active participants of the discussions. The student noted the significant contribution of the teaching staff of her university to the development of students both in terms of science and personal growth. "We see the results of this joint work, and then we become good specialists in our home country" - emphasized Khatija.
