Negotiations between the heads of customs services took place at the Goudan-Bajgiran checkpoints on the Turkmen-Iranian border. In the morning of February 28, the working meeting was held at the Bajgiran post. Among the important issues discussed was the implementation of the agreements reached earlier between the Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Customs Department of Iran.
In the afternoon, a meeting was held on the Turkmen side. The guests were familiarized with the infrastructure of the checkpoint, its specifics of operation and the equipment used. Then the meeting continued in the administrative building of the Gaudan checkpoint, where the issues of providing transit services and using the digital e-TIR system were discussed.
