A telephone conversation between the President of Uzbekistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people took place

National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation on April 15. This is reported on the official website of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The topic of the conversation was discussion of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, energy and water sectors. Attention was paid to practical aspects of interaction and development of relations between the states in Central Asia.

The results of the last meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, political consultations, meetings of the Ministers of Transport and Culture and events related to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations were also discussed.

At the end of the conversation, Mr. Miriziyoyev and Mr. Berdimuhamedov congratulated each other on the upcoming Ramadan Hayit holiday and agreed to continue developing ties between the countries in various spheres.
