Tennis players from Turkmenistan won the U-14 World Championship qualifying tournament

The qualifying tournament of the World Tennis Championship for juniors under 14 started with the victory of tennis players from Turkmenistan over the men's and women's national teams of Macau. This is reported in the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The U-14 qualifying tournament, which started in Colombo, Sri Lanka, features 15 national teams. The tournament will end on February 18.

I. Akhundov, S. Chagylov, R. Mammetkurbanov represent the Turkmenistan Junior Men's National Team. The women's team includes I. Huseynova, N. Martynova, S. Rakhmanova.

The national teams participating in the qualifiers are divided into 4 groups. The women's national team of Turkmenistan entered Group "B" together with tennis players from Macau, Indonesia and Kyrgyzstan. The men's national team of Turkmenistan together with teams from Macau, Cambodia and Saudi Arabia formed group "D".
