Ambassador of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Coordinator of the Prime Minister of Pakistan

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Pakistan A. Movlamov held a meeting with Pakistan's Prime Minister's Coordinator for Trade and Industry Rana Ihsan Afzal Khan, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.

The agenda included discussion of implementation of the joint project on construction of Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, power transmission line and Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan fiber-optic communication line.

For the timely implementation of the TAPI and TAP projects, Pakistan and Turkmenistan signed the Joint Implementation Plan on June 8 this year. The representative of Pakistan at the meeting with A. Movlamov emphasized the support of the state for the early completion of the projects.

In the course of the conversation, trade and economic sphere, in particular, cooperation in the field of energy was named as a promising area of Turkmen-Pakistani cooperation.
