Turkmen pilgrims traveled to Mecca and Medina

The first group of Turkmen pilgrims on the eve of Eid al-Adha traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj to Mecca and Medina. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Pilgrims who arrived from Turkmenistan by a special flight organized by the order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov by the agency "Türkmenhowaýollary" visited the mosque "Hezreti Omar". After visiting the mosque, which is located on the territory of the capital's Parahat-7 residential complex, they traveled to the capital's International Airport.

Pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina to worship the sacred Kaaba and perform other sacred rituals is one of the most important traditions of the peoples of the Islamic world.
