Today Moscow hosts a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State, during which Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov represents Turkmenistan as an associate member of the CIS. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
Turkmenistan expresses its firm commitment to the further development of cooperation with the countries of the Commonwealth, taking into account the existing potential in various areas. Traditionally friendly relations and common historical and cultural roots are a reliable basis for a fruitful partnership between Turkmenistan and the CIS countries.
Topical issues of the regional and international agenda will be considered during the meeting in narrow and extended formats. At the end of the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State, the final documents will be signed.
