Telephone conversation between Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Turkey

On October 9, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation, TDH reports.

During the telephone conversation, Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted that Turkey is watching with great interest the celebrations held in the country and abroad on the occasion of the anniversary of the great poet-classic and thinker of the East Makhtumkuli Fraghi, and wished a successful international forum in honor of the great poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi, which will be held in Ashgabat in the near future.

Taking the opportunity, the head of the friendly country expressed warm greetings and best wishes to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Expressing gratitude for the wishes for the success of the international forum dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli, Hero Arkadag emphasized that Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a worthy contribution to the study and transmission of the creative heritage of the classic poet of Turkmen literature Makhtumkuli Fraghi to future generations.

In this regard, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan said that taking into account the merits of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as his great personal contribution to strengthening friendship and brotherhood between the two nations, the President of Turkmenistan awards the head of the brotherly country with the jubilee medal "Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna".

Sincerely congratulating on the award, the Hero-Arcadag expressed gratitude to the President of Turkey and the brotherly Turkish people for honoring our great poet and thinker and Turkmen culture in general. Taking the opportunity, the National Leader of the Turkmen people asked on behalf of his wife Ogulgerek Berdimuhamedova to convey words of greetings and best wishes to Emine Erdogan.
