The Chairman of the Council of Pakistan and the Ambassador of Turkmenistan held a meeting in Pakistan

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov and Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani held a meeting in Pakistan on October 30 this year. This was reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."

The sides discussed opportunities for enhancing interaction between the parliaments of both countries, which would strengthen cooperation in the spheres of trade, culture, energy and education. Attention was paid to partnership in transit and bilateral trade.

It should be recalled that diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Pakistan were established in 1992 and have been developing for decades in the context of long-term effective cooperation. Turkmenistan and Pakistan have been successfully establishing ties in various spheres of state life. At present, the interaction between the two countries is intensifying.
