General representative of Russian Railways in Turkmenistan Ivan Tonkikh said that the North-South transport corridor passing through the territory of Turkmenistan has great potential. This is reported in the online publication "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".

He noted that transport and logistics cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia is actively developing today. The Russian side expressed interest in the implementation of the North-South project. According to Ivan Tonkikh, Turkmenistan has a unique location in Central Asia, through which international trade routes pass.
