On April 25-26, Turkmen-Turkish political consultations were held in Ankara with the participation of a delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Deputy Foreign Minister A. Gurbanov. Gurbanov. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Deputy Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Turkey met within the framework of the first round of consultations. Issues of cooperation in the political-diplomatic, cultural-humanitarian, trade and economic spheres were discussed, as well as issues on the international agenda.
Special attention was paid to cooperation in the transport and energy spheres. Inter-Ministerial consultations were held within the framework of the second round. The sides discussed the expansion of cooperation in various areas, as well as interaction within the UN framework. Promising areas of cultural and humanitarian cooperation were outlined, including in the spheres of education, science and culture.
