A delegation from Turkmenistan is taking part in the 65th session of the Assembly of States Parties to the World Intellectual Property Organization, currently taking place in Geneva. This is reported by the Internet edition "TurkmenPortal.
The 65th session of the Assembly began on July 9, 2024, the end of the event is scheduled for July 17. The Turkmen delegation was headed by the head of the State Service for Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the country.
During the session, a series of multilateral meetings are held, the central topics of which are the issues of intellectual property protection, the development of digital technologies in this direction, the use of artificial intelligence capabilities.
Bilateral meetings with the Turkmen delegation will be held on the margins of the Assembly, during which the priorities of the "Program for the Development of the Intellectual Property System in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025" will be considered.
