The Turkmen State University received the Certificate on assigning the name "Arkadag" to a star

On Monday, July 1 this year, a solemn ceremony of handing over to the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli the Certificate of assigning the name "Arkadag" to the star in the constellation Pegasus was held. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The decision to name the star "Arkadag" was made by the Cosmos-Earth Society in honor of the anniversary of the founding of Turkmenistan's first "smart" city built using advanced smart technologies. This decision, which was announced on June 29 during a solemn conference on the occasion of Arkadag city's birthday, emphasizes the special significance of this settlement and is a symbol of pride for it.

Together with the Certificate the management of TSU named after Makhtumkuli was given a modern telescope and photos of the Arkadag star.
