The Turkmen delegation took part in the Embrace The World, Embrace The Diversity festival held at the Beijing Transport University. This was reported by the Internet edition of Greater Asia.
Turkmenistan was represented at the festival by the folk dance Kushtdepdi and the Turkmen national dish Dograma, which was recognized by the teachers of the university as the best dish of the event. The Turkmen national dish is made of mutton, flatbread and onions.
In total, representatives from 34 countries took part in the festival, performing national style acts and presenting national dishes. The festival was organized by Beijing Transport University to introduce the wide cultural diversity of traditions and customs of the peoples of the world.
