Baku, July 28 - Arzuw.news. The 8th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan has been held in the capital of Azerbaijan. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the Information Center Business Turkmenistan.
The meeting participants considered issues of partnership development and mutual investments in priority sectors of the two countries' economies. The Turkmen delegation was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyev, while the Azerbaijani delegation was headed by Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov. They acted as co-chairmen of the Commission.
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation in business, trade, energy sector, transportation infrastructure, industrial production and agrarian complex.
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov announced about the meeting on social media on Monday.
The previous 7th meeting of the intergovernmental commission was held on November 28, 2023 in Ashgabat.
