Turkmenistan intensifies cooperation with Caspian littoral states to supply gas to Europe

On the eve of the Caspian Day, which is celebrated by the Caspian region countries annually on August 12, columnist Ussa Ussaev spoke about joint promising projects of Turkmenistan and Caspian littoral countries. This is reported on Turkmenportal.com website

The holiday is widely celebrated in Turkmenistan and Russia. In Turkmenistan, a scientific and practical conference, sports and cultural events will be held in the Avaza tourist zone on August 12.

The Caspian Sea Day forum is scheduled to be held in the Russian city of Astrakhan on August 10-11.
Within the framework of the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea, Turkmenistan is developing its cooperation with the countries of the Caspian Sea region.

The big joint project is the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline. After the renewal of the project, the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline should connect to the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline, further to the Trans-Adriatic gas pipeline. Thus, as the expert noted, the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline will become an additional tool for the implementation of the project to deliver gas to Europe.
