Turkmen delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Akhmet Gurbanov and Czech delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Jiri Kozak held inter-ministerial political consultations in Prague on June 20. About it reports Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the sides reviewed the implementation of the agreements reached earlier and noted the need to expand the legal framework. The sides expressed interest in expanding trade and economic ties by increasing mutual trade turnover, implementing joint projects in energy, transport, agriculture, food and textile industries.
In the context of cultural and humanitarian relations, the parties considered the possibility of holding cross cultural days, exhibitions and other events. In addition, A. Gurbanov held a meeting with the Vice-Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Jan Bartoshek on the issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
