Turkmenistan and Japan discuss issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation

On September 3, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov met with representative of the Japan-Turkic-speaking states dialog Tugrul Matsumoto. This is reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.

It was noted that the sides attach special importance to the development of cultural and humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and Japan. The interlocutors considered the possibility of holding cultural events in Japan in honor of the anniversary of Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi.

In addition, the sides touched upon the development of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation in the trade and economic sphere. In this context, the sides noted the bilateral intergovernmental and interparliamentary documents on cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres signed earlier this year.
