Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Qatar Myratgeldi Seyitmammedov held a meeting with the head of the Qatar Tourism Authority Saad bin Ali Al Kharji. This is reported by the Internet edition "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
The Ambassador informed about the main objectives of the development of the tourism sector of Turkmenistan and presented the opportunities of the National Tourist Zone "Avaza". The Qatari side expressed interest in establishing close cooperation in the tourism sector with Turkmenistan.
In continuation of the conversation, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan familiarized the head of the Qatar Tourism Authority with the events held at the national and international levels in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
