On the margins of the UNGA in New York on September 30, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua Valdrak Ludwig Vitaker held talks. About it reports Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the sides reaffirmed the commitment to intensify political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries. In the context of inter-parliamentary cooperation, the importance of organizing mutual visits at various levels was noted.
The diplomats expressed mutual interest in expanding trade and economic ties, establishing cooperation in science, culture, sports and tourism. The need to improve the bilateral legal framework was confirmed.
