On October 1, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for Central Asia and the Caucasus Mr. Ishikawa Masaki met in the building of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
In the course of the meeting the prospects of expanding partnership in bilateral format, within the framework of regional and international organizations, as well as within the framework of the Central Asia-Japan Dialogue were considered.
The parties noted the fruitfulness of inter-parliamentary cooperation and considered the possibilities of strengthening trade and economic cooperation. In this context, the sides discussed preparations for the upcoming World Expo-2025.
Within the framework of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, the interlocutors expressed readiness to continue cooperation in the spheres of science and culture.
