Ashgabat, July 17 - Arzuw.news. Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova held a meeting with Uzbek Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ravshanbek Alimov to discuss topical issues of bilateral interaction. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the talks, the diplomats reviewed the current state and further prospects of cooperation between the two countries in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Special attention was paid to the fruitful interaction between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in the international arena, particularly within the United Nations. The sides emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts in multilateral formats.
Separately, the participants of the meeting discussed the participation of the Uzbek delegation in the upcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3).
