Turkmenistan and the UK increase trade turnover

Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and the UK for the period from April 2022 to March 2023 increased by 30%, amounting to 52 million pounds. This was reported by the UK Department of Business and Trade.

During this period, the total amount of imports from the UK to Turkmenistan amounted to 37 million pounds sterling, including 15 million for goods and 22 million for services.

Exports to the UK from Turkmenistan for the corresponding period increased by 400% and amounted to 15 million pounds sterling. Exports of goods to the UK amounted to 10 million, with 5 million worth of services exported.

The UK buys chemical products, general industrial equipment, airplanes and electrical goods from Turkmenistan. The UK supplies inorganic chemicals, mechanical generators, general industrial equipment, metal ores and scrap to Turkmenistan.
