Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan create a trilateral format of cooperation

A trilateral summit meeting with participation of Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza". As a result of the summit, an order was given to create trilateral formats of cooperation in various directions between the three states. The President of Azerbaijan emphasized that a format of interaction aimed at peace and cooperation is being created.

The Azerbaijani leader called the meeting a historic event and noted the high level of brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Ilham Aliyev said the two brotherly countries will continue to go forward shoulder to shoulder.

Specific projects of bilateral cooperation were discussed during the talks. In the near future, the foundation of a mosque, a gift from the Turkmen people, will be laid in the Azerbaijani town of Fizuli. President Aliyev emphasized twinning ties between the Turkmen city of Arkadag and the Azerbaijani town of Fizuli as an indicator of the high level of bilateral relations.
