Turkmenistan became a participant of the Women, Peace and Security Forum

UN Women in Kazakhstan and the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia organized an international conference "Women, Peace and Security" in Almaty, which was attended by representatives of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The aim of the event was to intensify women's participation in regional projects to prevent conflicts and promote peace. The agenda included the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 in Central Asia, as well as the prospects for the realization of commitments "Women, Peace and Security" in the context of the Agenda 2030 in Central Asia.

At the end of the meeting, the final document on creating conditions in the region for the realization of the resolution "Women, Peace and Security" was adopted.
