Turkmenistan prepares 2nd DNO on implementation of sustainable development goals

On Friday, March 31, Turkmenistan presented the draft of the 2nd Voluntary National Review on the implementation of the SDGs. The meeting dedicated to this event was attended by representatives of UNDP and UN Resident Coordinators in Turkmenistan, representatives of relevant ministries and UN agencies. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The Voluntary National Review provides information on Turkmenistan's achievements in the areas of health, education, energy security, gender equality, environment and partnership. The country's experience in combating COVID-19 is also presented.

International expert B. Khambar presented her finalizations for the preparation of the final Voluntary National Review on the implementation of the SDGs, which will be presented at the Policy Forum this summer.
