Turkmenistan was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Akhmet Gurbanov in the ministerial session of the third "Voice of the Global South" summit organized by the Government of India. The ministerial session was held in online format on August 17. About it reports Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
Representatives from over 100 countries participated in the summit. The agenda was "Empowering the Global South for a Sustainable Future". The aim of the event was to develop workable solutions to enhance regional cooperation and address the pressing challenges of developing countries.
The Turkmen side expressed its intention to expand cooperation based on the principles of neutrality and peace. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan named transportation and energy as priority areas of partnership development.
