Turkmenistan will establish a jubilee medal and a commemorative sign in honor of the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of the status of permanent neutrality of the country and the declaration of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust". This initiative was voiced by Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the meeting of the State Organizing Committee held on January 9, 2025. The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized the importance of improving the legislative activities of the country in the light of the planned activities for the anniversary of neutrality. The need to expand educational work among the citizens of Turkmenistan was also noted.
Chairman of Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave instructions to Deputy Prime Minister Kh. Geldimiradov to ensure financing of the upcoming events.
