On June 15, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov familiarized with the progress of grain harvesting during his working trip to Kizylarvat district of Balkan velayat. Thanks to the President's care, high-yielding varieties of wheat have been grown in the farmlands of Balkan velayat, where modern combine harvesters of well-known companies "John Deere" and "Claas" are used round the clock during the grain harvesting season, TDH reports.
During his working trip to the Balkan province, the head of state visited the wheat field of twin brothers Annagula and Ashyrgula Annaguliev, tenants of the "Arkaç" Daykhan Association of Kizylarvat district. Dayhane noted that the visit of the head of Turkmenistan to the Balkan province is a great joy for the residents of the western region and informed that on the previous day, with the blessing of the President of Turkmenistan and honorable elders of the country, the harvesting season started here. They asked Arkadagly Hero Serdar to bless the beginning of harvest in their field.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pronounced "Bismilla" and cut the first sheaf of wheat grown by the twin brothers, after which powerful machinery began harvesting the beautiful crop symbolizing the abundance of our nation's dastarkhan.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov familiarized himself with the exhibition of vegetable and fruit products, varieties of grain crops, bread and bakery products made of wheat from this year's harvest at the Arkaç Association in Dayhan.
In their conversation with the President of Turkmenistan, tenants Annaguly and Ashyrguly Annagulyev expressed words of sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, for the excellent working conditions created. The tenant brothers told the head of state that they have been farming since 2020. Annaguly expects to harvest 256 tons of wheat this year from the
64 hectares of land. He also sowed
15 hectares of cotton, 5.7 hectares of potatoes and 4 hectares of vegetables. Ashyrgula has 15 hectares of land for cotton, 4.3 hectares for potatoes and 4 hectares for vegetables.
As the President noted, this year the state purchase prices for wheat and cotton have been raised, and therefore the incomes of daihans will grow. Necessary measures are being taken in Turkmenistan to improve social and living conditions in rural areas, create all conditions for rich harvest and increase the welfare of daihans. Tenants are provided with modern machinery, high-quality seeds and fertilizers, and this contributes to strengthening food abundance in the country.
Arkadagli Hero Serdar presented gifts to the tenants receiving rich harvests. Then, the head of state presented the keys of 200 modern cars intended for the residents of Balkan velayat to the khakim of Balkan velayat.
