The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan has received a modern PCR laboratory from UNDP within the framework of the project "Response to COVID-19 in Turkmenistan". This is reported by the online publication "Greater Asia".
The laboratory will be used by SES rapid response and infection control teams to identify new, suspicious and dangerous infection centers. The laboratory is designed to meet the specific conditions of the regions of Turkmenistan. It is equipped with an autonomous life support system, separate ventilation system, clean water tanks and modern filters.
The use of the new equipment will help improve the country's capacity for public health and infectious disease control.
