Turkmen delegation participated in the forum in New York

On July 17, a high-level conference on sustainable development was held in New York, which was attended by the Turkmen delegation headed by Minister of Finance and Economy S. Jorayev. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The theme of the forum was "Accelerating recovery from COVID-19 and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at all levels".

During his speech, Mr. Jorayev spoke about Turkmenistan's activities aimed at achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals at the national and international levels.

During the presentation, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan had managed to maintain the stability of the country's economic growth during the coronavirus pandemic. The high integration of global development goals into Turkmenistan's national programs and strategies was noted.
