The song "Baky diri esgerler" by composer Aina Shirova and poet Hemr Shirov won the Grand Prix of the David Krivitsky International Composers' Contest. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
The contest was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Union of Composers of Russia. The song of the Turkmen composer and poet became the winner of the flash mob dedicated to Victory Day. For a month, the song "Baky diri esgerler" was performed by musicians in different countries of the world.
The premiere of the song "Baky diri esgerler", which is sung in Turkmen and Russian languages, took place in Turkmenistan in May this year during the concert in honor of Victory Day. The first performer of the song was Bahar Durdyev, the instrumental part was performed by Tahir Ataev's orchestra.
