A solemn conference was held at the Mekan Palace on September 4 with the participation of heads of public organizations and eight hundred representatives of Turkmen youth working or receiving education in the country in various fields. This was reported by the online publication "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
An exhibition dedicated to the achievements of young people in science and technology was organized as part of the conference. At the entrance to the conference hall, bakhshis performed Turkmen folk songs.
The aim of the conference was to inform young people about the conditions created in the country in the educational sphere. It was emphasized that an important direction of the ongoing reforms and state programs is to strengthen the material and technical base of scientific and educational centers and higher education institutions.
In the final part of the event, a musical group from the Turkmen State Institute of Culture performed.
