Scientists of the Makhtumkuli Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan are searching for new printed or manuscript sources on the life and creative path of Makhtumkuli Fraghi. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
Many materials were obtained after scientific and creative trips to the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan. Also in August of the current year, scientists from Turkmenistan conducted work in the Library and Information Center of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, where they received all possible assistance.
In the heritage collection of Hungarian linguist-turkologist, ethnographer and traveler Arminius Vambery, a manuscript he found during his journey through the Turkmen lands was found. It contains three poems by Makhtumkuli Fraghi, as well as poems by other Turkmen classical poets. In addition, two previously unknown manuscripts related to the works of Makhtumkuli were found during the work of Turkmen scientists at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
